The University of Valencia (UVEG) participates through its joint research institute, Instituto de Fisica Corpuscular (IFIC), counting roughly 200 researchers, engineers and technicians. Its main subjects of research range from nuclear physics to high energy physics. In addition to this, UVEG has received the HR Excellence in Research Award.
